Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that Jay P. Baaske, of Orland Park has joined GIT as a regional account manager and will be based out of the firm's Oak Lawn office. He will be responsible for sales, marketing and business development in the south and southwestern suburbs of Cook and Will Counties.

Mr. Baaske comes to GIT with over eleven years of successful sales and marketing experience. He began his career as a financial branch manager for Bank of America. He joined First American Title in 1998 as a senior account representative specializing in major financial accounts. He received local and national awards for sales achievements for excellence in the cross selling of products and services within the title insurance business. He has been an active participant in volunteer committee work with many real estate related trade groups including the coordination of member outings and functions.

In making the announcement, Charles K. Papp, Senior Executive Vice President of GIT stated, " Jay will focus his efforts on growing all segments of our business in the south and southwest suburbs.
